Interface Tabs or Shaw Lokdots for the easiest removable install.
Pressure sensitive adhesive, PAINT ROLLED, for full contact that won’t be hard to remove tiles and replace. Plus they won’t leave behind a bunch of trowel ridges later.
For the record, I’ve never heard of carpet tile having rubber backing, they mostly come with a solid vinyl type backing.
If you go the PSA route, make sure you wait for that glue to set up before laying the carpet tiles in it.
